Cassyni is recruiting an Operations Coordinator to help us meet and exceed customer expectations as we continue to scale.
We’re looking for a capable, organised and solutions-focused individual who will handle incoming customer requests, onboard new clients, and help us develop our sector-leading product.
The role is part-time, primarily based in-person in our London Kings Cross office. For the right candidate, we would consider developing this into a full-time position over a longer period.

Operations Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Customer service
- First point of contact for customers and service users, handling and resolving their queries via our ticketing system
- Initiating and managing live online webinars for key customers
Customer success
- Onboarding new customers through delivering training and support calls, importing material and creating demonstration series
- Monitoring platform activity by our customers, identifying opportunities for more effective use of our products
Operations
- Collating user feedback and supporting the Head of Operations in managing the product roadmap
- Monitoring & reporting on a defined set of metrics tracking platform growth, customer service and user engagement
- Supporting colleagues to identify potential customers and growth opportunities
Working pattern:
This role is initially envisaged as a part-time role (between 0.4 and 0.6 FTE), with a combination of in-office and remote work. The role would combine core hours with on-demand work dependent on customer need.
The role is office-based, with the employee based in either our London Kings Cross office or in Edinburgh, with at least three days a week working in-person.
For the right candidate, we would be prepared to consider growing this into a full-time position over time.
Salary
The role will be part-time initially, with remuneration equivalent to a full-time salary of £28,000 to £40,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience.

Cassyni is an innovative startup business in the scholarly space. Our priority is hiring someone who is competent, motivated and resourceful.
It would be a bonus if an applicant has:
- Graduated, or is expecting to graduate, with a science- or engineering-focused degree qualification
- An interest in coding, product development, start-ups – a small, fast-paced work environment that values ideas, innovation and flexibility
- Some experience with academia, academic publishing, scientific literature, and the scholarly ecosystem in general
