JPP Frontiers of Plasma Physics Colloquium

Journal of Plasma Physics

The Journal of Plasma Physics (JPP) Frontiers of Plasma Physics Colloquium is a weekly seminar series covering all areas of plasma physics. It aims to provide a community-wide forum for dissemination and discussion of cutting-edge research in the field. The series was started in April 2020, during the first pandemic lockdowns, by Bill Dorland , Cary Forest, and Alex Schekochihin, and has continued uninterrupted ever since. It is hosted by JPP, the speakers are invited on behalf of JPP’s Editorial Board , with the advice of its Advisory Board , and all seminars are chaired by members of the Editorial Board. The Zoom platform for the seminars is graciously provided by Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (as was the recording of the seminars until August 2025). You may watch the seminars either directly via the Zoom link (which is provided with the email announcements) or (preferably) by subscribing here via Cassyni.
