Brahmal Vasudevan Institute for Sustainable Aviation Seminar Series

Brahmal Vasudevan Institute for Sustainable Aviation, Imperial College London

The climate emergency presents one the greatest challenges humanity has ever faced. Its impact on our lives is already significant and set to worsen without swift and meaningful action to decarbonise our society. This imperative extends to air transport, which has revolutionised our world by uniting humanity across the globe in the last century, but which is also facing major obstacles to achieve decarbonisation.

The question is, how can we maintain the benefits of aviation in a way that continues to be safe and accessible, but it is also sustainable?

The Brahmal Vasudevan Institute of Sustainable Aviation is hosting a series of live-streamed seminars to address the current state of the transition to net-zero aviation. Seminars feature talks from leading experts in aeronautics, technology development, and policy making. This series aims to catalyse a global dialogue about the pathway to a circular economy in the aviation sector, exploring innovative solutions for achieving this critical objective.
