This presentation delves into advanced catalyst design, with a particular emphasis on heteroatom doping. The supported hydrogenation catalysts exhibited significant activity in both reductive amination and nitroarene reduction, applicable in batch and continuous-flow processes. Preparation involved applying air-stable, non-precious, molecularly defined precursors onto support materials via wet impregnation, followed by pyrolytic activation. A strong focus was placed on material recyclability. Detailed structural and thermal analyses, conducted using TGA, XPS, EDX, and STEM techniques, provided deep insights into surface morphology and behavior under varying conditions.
