Age-Friendly Health Systems

Let's get started. My name is Bob Burke, a physician and general internist at the University of Pennsylvania and the VA in Philadelphia. Today, we have a Panel discussion on Age-Friendly Health Systems with experts in the field. I am grateful to our panelists for joining. Leslie Pelton, Vice President of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, will co-guest edit the Special Collection. Julia Adler Millstein, Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco, and Cheryl Phillips, a geriatrician and senior Program consultant to the John A Hartford Foundation, are also here. Our journal editor, Umer Shafiq, will provide an introduction to the journal Inquiry, which focuses on public health and health policy. Inquiry has been in publication for 60 years and aims to address relevant healthcare topics. Thank you, Bob, for the introduction.
