Dialysis Academy 2024

Dialysis Academy 2024

Imperial College Renal and Transplant Centre

With this academy we hope to share the future together. We recognise that success in dialysis care is achieved through teamwork with health experts from various disciplines that have lines of vision that complement each other. We need to share our expertise to appreciate all facets of our patients treated with dialysis, instead we spend too little time truly listening to each other. Through presentation and debate over two days in person and in virtual space, we hope to share experience and precision in dialysis science, to empower health experts and their patients to leave the academy ready to walk the talk.

Similar to last year, this event would coincide with World Kidney Day (14th of March). World Kidney Day is a joint initiative of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and the International Federation of Kidney Foundations – World Kidney Alliance (IFKF-WKA). World Kidney Day is a global campaign aimed at raising awareness of the importance of our kidneys. Awareness about preventive behaviours, awareness about risk factors, and awareness about how to live with a kidney disease. We do this because we want kidney health for all.
